Epicurean Food and Wine Tours is a family owned and operated luxury tour provider travelling throughout Victoria's world renowned wine regions. Catering to lovers of fine food and wine, Epicurean provides an exclusive insight to the personalities behind the producers of Australia's outstanding wine and local produce.
Since commencing business in 1999, Epicurean has been providing a private, first-class service in luxury vehicles and coaches with informative and experienced hosts. Each Epicurean tour has enabled guests to experience an abundant range of regional fresh food and local wine.
As an extension to their committment to excellent touring, Epicurean Tours launched a new day tour brand Epicurean Day Tours in September 2005. The tour under the new brand is designed for guests who are happy to share their day with a small group but still experience a more up-market and personalised touring style.
The first tour to operate under the new brand is the Yarra Valley Food and Wine Journey, visiting the third generation, Italian family owned De Bortoli Winery for a private tasting in their Trophy Room, Yering Station Winery, the home of Victoria’s first vineyard, for wine tasting and a visit to the Produce Store, lunch at the acclaimed Domaine Chandon and concluding the afternoon with a visit to Coldstream Hills Winery, the 100-year-old Yarra Valley Dairy to sample award-winning farm house cheeses and the adjacent Yarra Valley Wine Hub to taste single vineyard wines from low yielding, distinctive vineyards.
Of course, Epicurean is still committed to offering exceptional private tours for guests requiring exclusive, personalised tours to key Victorian regions. With their combined skills, resources and experience in a wide range of touring options, Epicurean is able to meet the needs of the discerning leisure or corporate client.
