Chandon was bought in the mid 1980’s and was once a dairy farm called GreenPoint which is now the name of Chandons restaurant. Here we will be welcomed to the tasting room for a tasting of Chandon foundation wines and a story on Chandon in Australia and how sparkling wine is made. You will have time to take in the view over the vines from the terrace and explore the gift shop before we leave for lunch.
Family owned Tokar Estate is our well picked lunch venue and a perfect stop to sit back and relax and enjoy the seasonal and local produce on the menu paired with an estate grown wine and look over the vineyard. in warmer months we can sit on the terrace, otherwise we can get cosy in the elegant restaurant. After lunch we will head over to the on-site cellar door for a wine tasting of Tokar wines including their signature wine, Tempranillo
