Q: What food and wine regions do your tours cover?
A: We offer curated food and wine tours to Victoria’s premier wine regions – the Yarra Valley and the Mornington Peninsula. Both just over an hour from the City

Q: Are the tours guided?
A: Yes, all our tours are led by experienced, passionate local guides with expert knowledge of the region’s wine, food, and history.

Q: Does your tour include Chandon in the Yarra Valley?

A: Epicurean Food and Wine Tours visit Chandon for a guided tasting and a walk around the beautiful estate. This is one of our most popular tours to the Yarra Valley.

Q: Are we able to do the Pt Leo Sculpture Walk if we visit the Mornington Peninsula?

Yes, we visit Pt Leo after lunch at Merrick’s General Wine Store and you can choose to do the self guided walk with amazing views over Westernport Bay.

Q: Do you pick up guests from the City?
A:Yes, We pick you up from outside your hotel or accommodation-our front at the designated time. If you are from Melbourne and coming into the City we can provide you with a convenient place to meet us!

Q: What is the difference between a small group and a private tour?
A: Small group tours include up to 6 guests and follow a set itinerary that is detailed on the home page Epicurean Tours. Private tours are fully customisable and exclusive to your group, ideal for couples, families, or special occasions or groups wanting to go at their own pace.

Q: What’s included in the tour?
A: All tours include in depth wine tastings at premium wineries, lunch at a leading winery restaurant with a glass of wine, transportation from Melbourne, and a storytelling local guide. Private tours can include additional experiences such as gin tastings, cheese pairings, or scenic stops.

Q: What time do you pick me up from my City hotel/accommodation?

A: Pick ups start at approx 940am and finish at 10am. We will confirm the exact time with you so you can be ready outside your hotel entrance. We will drop you back to the same location at approximately 5.30pm 

Q: Does Epicurean host special event tours?
A: Yes we do! We love hosting tours for birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations and office get togethers. Let us know when you book so we can make your tour extra special. We also host special events ourselves such as truffle hunts and truffle cooking classes and dining in winter months or Chandon behind the scenes tours so be sure to ask us.

Q: Are dietary restrictions taken into account?
A:Please let us know when you book of any dietary restrictions or even food and wine preferences so we can advise restaurants and update our guides.

Q: What is the travel time to the Yarra Valley and Mornington Peninsula?

A: Just over an hour, a little longer on the return to take in some sights. This includes seeing kangaroos on a gold course and the highest point on the Mornington Peninsula, Arthurs Seat for views over Port Phillip Bay. 

Q: I received an email saying that you need 4 guests to tour. What are my options?
A: Great question… We will come back to you a few days out if we haven’t reached our minimum for a small group tour. The options include checking if you may be able to tour on another day, to another region-Yarra Valley instaed of Mornington Peninsula and visa versa or you could consider a private tour upgrade. 

Q: Is this the best tour in the Yarra Valley or Mornington Peninsula?
A: Epicurean Food and Wine Tours offer premium and very small groups lunch and wine tours. Our tours are designed to show the best wineries and cellar door experiences as well as great dining at our favourite restaurants. You will feel welcome wherever you go. Our guides want to create a fabulous -memorable day for you so is warm and friendly. Our guides share your passion for food and wine and are great story tellers. Epicurean Food and Wine Tours are small group, that is very small group- 6 guests.
